Xinfa Aluminum’s ‘Transit Rail’ initiative gains momentum for greener tomorrow

On February 6, the Jinan Bureau of China Railway took a significant step towards enhancing the efficiency of logistics operations and promoting sustainable development by signing the 2024 railway logistics general contract service agreement with Xinfa Group.

Shandong Xinfa Aluminum Co., Ltd. occupies an expansive area of 25,000 square meters, boasting a robust registered capital of RMB 50 million. The company commands total assets worth RMB 380 million and boasts a workforce of 1,400 employees.

About the contract

This contract signifies a significant stride towards optimizing the logistics supply chain, driving down operational costs, and fortifying Xinfa Group's path towards green, low-carbon, and high-quality development.The agreement, representing the National Railway Group, entails a substantial logistics commitment of 30 million tonnes with a leading private enterprise group. In a promising development, the total logistics volume in 2024 stands at 31 million tonnes, marking a year-on-year increase of 6.75 million tonnes.

This agreement encompasses operations across "four provinces and six bureaus", including Shandong, Shanxi, Guangxi, and Xinjiang, and the National Railway Jinan, Beijing, Taiyuan, Zhengzhou, Nanning, and Urumqi bureaus. The extensive coverage of this contract underscores its pivotal role in driving the expansion and advancement of railway logistics services.

The signing ceremony was graced by esteemed individuals, including Dong Hui, Deputy Director of the Freight Department of the National Railway Group, and Zhang Xuexin, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Xinfa Group, exemplifying the strategic partnership and commitment towards fostering innovative and sustainable logistics solutions.
