Wildpack Beverage Inc. has initiated a partnership deal with Woodstream Corporation to supply their flagship hummingbird nectar in aluminium cans instead of the usual plastic packaging option. This step is to uphold the sustainability values put forward by both brands.

From now on, Woodstream's nectar would come packed in aluminium cans manufactured in Wildpack facilities. Though the historical packaging material for the same has always been plastic, this switch might positively benefit the companies as aluminium is infinitely recyclable.
This innovative addition might eradicate almost 150 tonnes of plastic which is quite commendable. Moreover, the exclusion of plastic might also be beneficial for the birds feeding on hummingbird nectar because aluminium is not as toxic as plastic. This move can undoubtedly save 1 million birds that perish due to plastic usage.
Mitch Barnard, Chief Executive Officer of Wildpack Inc., notified: "A partnership that eliminates single-use plastics while welcoming a new entrant to the aluminium can format is a win-win for us. Environmental sustainability is a central value and drives our focus on the aluminium can format, so when Woodstream approached us to help them achieve their sustainability goals, we were eager to think outside the box and adapt our processes to non-traditional segments."
SVP of the Wild Bird Division, Steve Lorraine, exemplified: "Our commitment to decreasing our environmental footprint is demonstrated through this partnership. The values of our organization are anchored on continuous improvement and innovation. We are always looking for new methods to improve our efficiency, and working with Wildpack will assist us in moving toward even more sustainable practices."
Although hummingbird nectar is entirely a seasonal item, Wildpack promises to remain associated with constructing a stable user base that is least affected by seasonality in contrast to the previous set of summer-oriented customers.
