The certification also verifies that up to 95% of the aluminium and 90% of the polyethylene core in Vivas panels are recyclable and this emphasises the product is consistent with circular economy principles. Thus, it positions Viva as a trusted supplier for architects and developers seeking certified materials for sustainable construction projects, including those aligned with LEED, BREEAM, IGBC, and GRIHA standards.
On receiving the certification, Nitin Jain, Director, Viva Composite Panel Pvt. Ltd., said: “Achieving this EPD certification marks a major milestone in our sustainability journey. It reflects our dedication to responsible manufacturing, transparency, and our vision of building a greener future through innovative cladding solutions.”
Beyond certification: Why Viva ACP’s innovation matters
Viva's ACPs are known for sustainability and versatility. Its products find usage in making facades, interiors, signages, transportation materials, and structures for solar panels. The company makes these panels with cutting-edge Korean technology at their plant in Gujarat. The panels are durable and have high aesthetic value. The EPD certification further enhances their appeal by validating their environmental-friendliness, thereby enabling people to make smarter and sustainable choices.
