
The total amount of aluminium scrap exported for January 2022 stood at 32,300 tonnes. On a month-on-month calculation there was a downfall of 146,700 tonnes or 81.95 percent from 179,000 tonnes in December 2021 which further plunged by 29,000 tonnes or 13.94 percent from 208,000 tonnes in November 2021.

As per the USGS data, in January 2022, the total amount of scrap exported by the United States was recorded at 32,300. On a year-on-year calculation, the amount nosedived by 120,700 tonnes or 78.88 percent from 153,000 tonnes in January 2021.
For January to December 2021 the total amount of aluminium scrap exported by the United States closed at 2,100,000 tonnes.
In January 2022, India imported 11,300 tonnes of aluminium scrap to the United States, the highest scrap import for the month. On a month-on-month forefront there was a slump of 73.28 percent or 31,000 tonnes from 42,300 tonnes in December 2021.
As per the USGS data, the total amount of aluminium scraps imports to the United States for January 2022 stopped at 46,700 tonnes. On a month-on-month calculation a downfall of 1,700 tonnes or 3.51 percent was registered from 48,400 tonnes in December 2021, which on a month-on-month scale showed a decline of 4,900 tonnes or 9.19 percent from 53,300 tonnes in January 2021.
