
According to the US Geological Survey (USGS), the United States exported 12,400 tonnes of US aluminium scrap in November to Canada. On a month-on-month scale, there was a surge of 2,440 per tonne or by 24.49%. In October 2021, 9,960 tonnes of US aluminium scrap was exported to Canada, showing a growth of 2,390 tonnes from 7,570 tonnes in September 2021.

On a year-on-year calculation, US aluminium scrap export to Canada in November 2021 escalated by 5,860 tonnes or by 89.60% from 6,540 tonnes in November 2020.
From January to November, the exported aluminium scrap to Canada closed at 89,800 tonnes. For the same period last year, the amount settled at 66,700 tonnes.
As per the data from the USGS, the total amount of aluminium plates, sheets, bars, crude metals and alloys, and scrap, exported to Canada for November 2021 scored at 44,000 tonnes, showing a year-on-year growth of 8,200 tonnes. The total amount for November 2020 pegged at 35,800 tonnes.
