US aluminium plates, sheets, bars export to Canada descends by 12.45% Y-o-Y in September 2021

According to the US Geological Survey (USGS), the United States exported 23,900 tonnes of US aluminium plates, sheets, bars to Canada in September2021, flaunting a month-on-month descend of 2,700 tonnes or by 10.15 percent. In August 2021, 26,600 tonnes of aluminium plates, sheets, bars were exported to Canada, depicting a surge of 20.67 percent from 21,100 tonnes in July 2021.

On a year-on-year calculation, US aluminium plates, sheets, bars exported to Canada in September 2021, moved down by 3,400 tonnes or by 12.45 percent from 27,300 tonnes.

From January to September 2021, the exported aluminium plates, sheets, bars to Canada stood at 227,000 tonnes. For the same period last year, the amount closed at 221,000 tonnes.

According to the data shared by the United States Geological Survey, the amount of aluminium plates, sheets, bars, crude metals and alloys, and scrap, exported to Canada for September 2021 closed at 36, 800 tonnes. For the same period last year, the amount settled at 41,000 tonnes showing descend of 42000 flaunting a decrease of 4,200 tonnes in 2021.
