US aluminium crude metals and alloys imports from Argentina highlight an increase of 20.17% Y-o-Y in July 2021

According to the US Geological Survey (USGS), the United States imported 13,700 tonnes of crude metals and alloys from Argentina in July 2021, displaying a month-on-month ascend of 9,710 tonnes or by 243.35 percent. In June 2021, 3,990 tonnes of aluminium crude metals and alloys were imported from Argentina, a decrease of 78.07 percent from 18,200 tonnes in May 2021.
On a year-on-year calculation, US aluminium crude metals and alloys imported from Argentina in July 2021, escalated by 2,300 tonnes or by 20.17 percent from 11,400 tonnes.
From January to July 2021, the imported aluminium crude metals and alloys by the United States closed at 53,400 tonnes. For the same period last year, the amount exported by Argentina settled at 102,000 tonnes.
According to the data shared by the United States Geological Survey, the total amount of crude metals and alloys, aluminium plates, sheets, bars, and scrap imported from Argentina for July 2021 totalled at 13,700 tonnes. For the same period last year, the amount closed at 11,400 tonnes, exhibiting an increase of 2,300 tonnes in 2021.
