The U.S. Commerce Department announced the submission of the results of its national security investigation on imported aluminium. The department submitted the report to the President Donald Trump on Friday.

Reuters reported Trump administration officials confirmed that the findings in the Section 232 probe were delivered by the U.S. Commerce Department though no further details on the matter have been divulged.
"After this submission, by law the President has 90 days to decide on any potential action based on the findings of the investigation," according to the U.S. Commerce Department.
“We look forward to swift and decisive action by the President on this issue in order to save the American aluminium industry. American producers need comprehensive relief against excess capacity from all state supported enterprises -- not just China -- to create a fair playing field” Century Aluminum said on Sunday
Last April, the US launched a national security investigation on imported aluminium products.
