Three-month LME aluminium dropped slightly on Friday; SHFE aluminium added 0.98%
Three-month LME aluminium fell 0.1% to close at US$1,987 per tonne on last Friday. SMM expects the contract to trade between US$1,970-2,010 per tonne today.
As of Friday November 20, LME aluminium cash (bid) price stands at US$ 1984 per tonne, LME official settlement price stands at US$ 1984 per tonne; 3-months bid price stands at US$ 1995.50 per tonne, 3-months offer price is US$ 1995.50 per tonne; Dec 21 bid price stands at US$ 2014 per tonne, and Dec 21 offer price stands at US$ 2014 per tonne.
The LME aluminium opening stock stood at 1399525 tonnes. Live Warrants totalled 1232800 tonnes, and Cancelled Warrants were 166725 tonnes.
LME aluminium 3-months Asian Reference Price is hovering at US$ 1996.95 per tonne.
SHFE Aluminium Price Trend
Benchmark aluminium price for SHFE increased to stand at US$ 2411 per tonne on Monday, 23 November 2020.
The most-traded SHFE 2012 aluminium contract closed the day 0.98% higher at RMB15,960 per tonne on Friday, with trading volume falling 60,628 lots to 114,000 lots. The contract went down 0.78% to settle at RMB15,835 per tonne on Friday night. It is likely to trade between 15,600-16,000 per tonne today.
