New Jersey-based beverage brand, The Ryl Co. publicised its currently patented series of ready-to-drink iced teas premiering in 100% recyclable aluminium cans.
The beverage line incorporates highly attractive forms of nostalgic flavours, ranging from the usual iced tea variant to homemade steeped tea that provides identical health benefits. The company also has taken account of those diabetic patients who usually have to refrain oneself from enjoying aggressively sweetened commercial drinks.
The Ryl Co. claims it will also follow proper guidelines to be completely sugar-free and calorie-less, with no added preservatives or artificial ingredients.
To pack their flagship item, The Ryl Co. has chosen aluminium as it is infinitely recyclable being more environment-friendly than the usual substrate used in beverage packaging, which is plastic. This challenges the traditional way liquid packaging has been happening on earth and sets a better example for the planet, inducing a circular economy.
Ryl Co. canned teas will be available in the following flavours - Original Green Tea, Peach Black Tea, Raspberry Black Tea and Lemon Black Tea. Ryl Co. iced teas contain no artificial sweeteners as the company has used all-natural monk fruit and stevia leaf extract to produce an authentic taste. The company also claims that its products are Non-GMO Project verified, gluten-free, OU Kosher and plant-originated.
The CEO and founder of The RYL Co., Blodin Ukella, exemplified: “Wellness consumers are looking for more ways to eat and drink. At The RYL Co., we are focused on pioneering what we call the ‘additive revolution’ by bringing added value versus disruptive value to both consumers and retail partners.”
“We’re proud to deliver a trusted and transparent ingredient label via our proprietary Ryl Polyphenol Technology and, in parallel, add a delicious, functional wellness offering to the multibillion-dollar RTD tea category. Healthy can mean indulgence at the same time,” Ukella added.
The company has packed its flagship product in 16-ounce aluminium cans delivering them to Wegmans outlets all over the Northeastern United States and specially picked Whole Foods Market spaces. The Ryl Co. iced tea will also be launched in Wakefern and the countrywide Sprouts Farmers Market in the next few months, as was reported by brand associates.
