Marcos Alonso, a Human Interface designer working with Apple for more than ten years, has been presented with a solid metal memento made of aluminium to honour the hours of service in the company. The aluminium memento features a prominent Apple logo in the middle and has chamfered sides.

Alonso's name and the exact date depicting ten years from joining have been skilfully forged on the surface of the memento, with the number '10' referring to the years of employment. All of this was publicised through 'X', formerly known as Twitter, where the Apple employee hailed the company's creativity.
Working at Apple is a highly desired opportunity due to the company's comprehensive employee benefits program and reasonable 40-hour work week. Apple's commitment to providing work-life balance and competitive salaries, along with supportive measures for its workforce, make it an attractive employer.
Additionally, the memento also featured a personalised message from Apple CEO Tim Cook to highlight the occasion.
Tim Cook's special message to the employee, as carved on the surface of the memento, said: "Congratulations on reaching this milestone moment. The work you've done, the challenges you've met and the breakthroughs you've made possible. They all add up to a profound and lasting contribution to Apple's mission to change the world for the better. On behalf of everyone at Apple, thank you for all you bring to our journey together," it read.
Furthermore, a YouTube video documented the product's creation, highlighting the innovative use of 100% recycled custom alloy made from remnants of the production process.
"The alloy is cast into long ingots; then each ingot is sliced into blocks that are machined to the finished size. The surface is fine-blasted, and the edges are diamond-cut. The block is then anodised to seal the finish and create a protective layer. Finally, a stainless steel Apple logo is set into the centre," the video explained.
