SSTP organised by Sohar Aluminium drew to a close with the graduation ceremony

For the 7-week internship that started in July spanned across a variety of departments of Sohar Aluminium and at the end of it, 57 students were handed their graduation certificates.
The Human Resource Department organised the SSTP which aimed at providing hands-on industry training from basic to more advanced levels in a bid to develop workforce in Sohar Aluminium so that the Batinah governorate skill base can be enhanced. The Ministry of Manpower has commended the center for its effort to inculcate real world job skills into the Omani youth and give a chance to interact with the accomplished professionals in the industry.
Many educational institutions were involved in this initiative which includes name like Qaboos University; College of Applied Sciences Sohar, Ibri, and Rustaq; Sohar University; Shinas College of Technology; Caledonian College; Higher College of Technology Muscat; Ibra College of Technology; International College of Engineering and Waljat College.
