Spyker unveils new C8 Preliator with all-aluminium space frame

<p>Spyker unveils its new C8 Preliator marking the next step in Spyker Cars evolution. The two-door mid-engine sports car comes with all aluminium space frame comprised of extrusions and folded sheet aluminium and extruded aluminium side impact bars.<br /><br /><img style="vertical-align: middle; display: block; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;" src="http://www.alcircle.com/uploads/images/01-spyker-preliator-geneva-1.jpg" alt="News" width="517" height="226" /><br />Spyker‘s third-generation sport car will use the Audi 4.2 litre V8 engine and will boast 525 bhp. The design of Lotus front and rear independent double-wishbone suspension system is made of forged aluminium, which helps to keep the cars weight as low as possible.<br /><br />The C8 Preliator has been newly-designed with 19-inch aluminium alloy TurbofanTM wheels and its hood and rear deck lid comes in aluminium with LED sidelights and indicators.<br /><br />{googleAdsense}<br /><br />According to Victor R. Muller, Spyker’s Founder and Chief Executive Officer, the United States of America has purchased 50 per cent of its production and most of the cars were sold through Manhattan Motor Cars, Spyker’s first dealer in the USA.</p>
