South China Aluminum: Spot Price Drops below RMB 17,900/mt on Bearish Sentiment

Mainstream trading prices of spot aluminum in south China fell to RMB 17,840-17,860/mt on September 6th with continuously falling of SHFE aluminum prices. Within an overall bearish economic environment, downstream consumption turned even weaker, while market supply remained sufficient. Market transactions remained sluggish as purchases were made only as-needed.
