Slim Aluminium S.p.A. has receivedd ASI Performance Standard certification for the manufacturing of aluminium alloys rolled products by remelting, casting, hot and cold rolling and heat treatments. The plant, which has a capacity of approximately 95,000 tons per year, is vertically integrated, with casthouse, rolling mills and finishing lines, and manufactures flat rolled aluminium products.
Flat rolled aluminium products include a gauge range of 6 µm to 6 mm in soft as well as hard alloys.
{alcircleadd}The ASI Certification program is the only comprehensive voluntary sustainability standard initiative for the aluminium value chain. The program was developed through an extensive multi-stakeholder consultation process.

We want to support our customers in meeting the growing consumer demand for sustainable raw materials. ASI certification helps promote improvements for people and the environment throughout the aluminium value chain”.
The independent, third-party audit of the Slim Aluminium S.p.A. plant was carried out by Bureau Veritas Certification.
