Founded by Ken Grossman, this United States-based brewing company has released its first line of non-alcoholic beverages, dubbed the Trail Pass IPA, in recyclable aluminium cans. Trail Pass IPA is 35 IBU and contains Amarillo, Bravo, CTZ, Magnum, and Cascade hops to create a strong IPA taste and aroma. Trail Pass Golden offers a light, crisp taste from Centennial, Cascade, and Bravo hops with a low IBU of 15.

Instead of post-brew alcohol removal, both beers are crafted by conventional fermentation, using a yeast strain that yields little alcohol content. Despite its complexity, this method produces a superior beverage that resembles traditional beer but has less than 0.5 per cent alcohol by volume (ABV). Both items have a manufacturer's suggested retail price (MSRP) of $11.99 for a six-pack of 12 oz. cans.
“Our innovation brewers have been working for years to perfect a flavourful, satisfying non-alcoholic brew. What they’ve developed is truly best-in-class,” said Lesley Albright, VP of Marketing at Sierra Nevada Brewing Co.
Sierra Nevada is introducing Hop Splash Citrus, a new line extension to its famous Hop Splash sparkling water, to fill out the non-alcoholic range. To complement the apparent hoppy flavours and smells, Hop Splash Citrus is blended with Mosaic and Simcoe hops and genuine grapefruit and blood orange juice.
It contains no alcohol and has a suggested retail price of $8.99 (6-pack of 12oz. cans). Tyear-Sierra Nevada is well-known for its vast portfolio of beers and other drinks, including Pale Ale, Hazy Little Thing®, Torpedo®, and various seasonal, speciality, and limited-release beers.
