The company is investing USD 70 million in the development of the project within Morocco’s Atlantic Free Zone in Kenitra. Spanning 36,600 square meters, the eco-friendly plant is slated to commence operations by 2026, utilising renewable energy to produce its line of sustainable metal products.

Designed to align with Morocco’s circular economy objectives, the facility will have an annual processing capacity of 35,000 tonnes, targeting the recovery of approximately 19,200 tonnes of copper scrap and 27,540 tonnes of aluminium scrap. The refined output, comprising aluminium ingots and copper rod coils, will serve key domestic sectors including automotive, aerospace, and energy.

Beyond advancing green manufacturing practices, the project is expected to generate significant employment opportunities and play a pivotal role in reducing greenhouse gas emissions and the carbon footprint of both industries and local communities.
