Salvalco, an ethical tech company supporting the aerosol industry, recently announced its collaboration with Rossmann, bringing to market a new Isana deodorant collection using Eco-Valve technology with Nitrogen propellant. The main plus point about the new deodorant range is the usage of 95 per cent recyclable aluminium for its packaging.
“We are delighted to continue to support them in their corporate sustainability drive and their commitment to developing more sustainable aerosol solutions, healthier lifestyles and organic and vegan-based formulations,” said Peter Shaw, Managing Director, Salvalco.
{alcircleadd}The container of the Isana deodorant is composed of recyclable aluminium, which not only promotes sustainability but also showcases the brand's commitment towards the environment. The sprays, which are now widely accessible in their shops, follow the successful debut of their Alterra natural Deo spray, which also used aerosol technology, in 2021.
The Isana sprays, created from natural and vegan materials and packed in a 95% recyclable aluminium container, are available in various fresh and flowery aromas and do not include any dangerous LPG propellants.
"Rossmann was the first major brand in Europe to start using Eco-Valve back in 2021, so it's great to see them embracing the technology further and the benefits of nitrogen with their flagship brand Isana too," added Peter Shaw.
Aluminium manufacturing is becoming more and more environmentally friendly thanks to the industry's persistent efforts. Aluminium is highly recommended for a wide variety of end-user packaging. The packaging industry is seeing increased demand for recycled aluminium due to the growing interest in eco-friendly and sustainable packaging options. “Seeing brands continue to fully adopt the technology in their new ranges really does show the shift in the aerosol market and consumer demand. It’s also a testament to the quality and performance of Eco-Valve, which continues to hold its own in the market as an effective alternative to butane and LPG propellant, “added Shaw.
