Rumours suggest Apple Watch Series 9's aluminium version will be available in Barbie pink

It is rumoured that Apple iPhone 15 will be accompanied by the much-awaited Apple Watch Series 9 when it hits the stores in September this year. A new Apple Watch colour option would also be available for only the aluminium variant of the Series 9 model. 

It is not at all surprising to see the colour Pink being hyped after the major success of the movie- Barbie. But for Apple enthusiasts, this is great news as the new release would be compatible with the Midnight, Starlight, Silver, and Product (Red) offered with the Apple Watch Series 8.

ShrimpApplePro's Twitter account gives a wholesome analogy of this latest update by Apple, wherein the brand confirms that the new Pink colour would only be limited to the aluminium watch variants. Besides this significant addition, the Apple Watch Series 9 will retain the same shape, keeping the 41mm and 45mm signature sizes intact. In fact, there won't be any notable changes in the design. 

It is also being claimed that the costlier Stainless Steel version of the Apple Watch Series 9 will be bereft of any alteration and keep the already available Gold, Silver and Graphite aura intact. 

In a nutshell, the rumour mixed updates are:

• Apple is expected to release the Apple Watch Series 9 with watchOS 10 in mid-September
• The Series 9 will come in a new Pink colour option in addition to Midnight, Starlight, Silver, and Product(Red)
• Despite rumours of no new features, the Series 9 may include a new chipset based on the Apple A15 Bionic for improved performance
• The retail packaging/box of the Series 9 may be smaller due to environmental concerns
• The Pink colour option is not new to Apple products, as it was also offered in recent iPad Pro and iMac releases

Those who have watched Margot Robbie's Barbie might already be hungover with the explicit use of the colour pink. My favourite colour has always been black, but the Barbie movie set made me feel guilty that I never picked Pink as my confidant. Thanks to Apple, we are being exposed to a cart full of candyfloss and childhood.
