Rosmerta Technologies, a prominent player in the HSRP industry, has inaugurated the Rosmerta Recycling facility, a vehicle scrapping center in Manesar, Haryana, to dismantle and recycle post-consumer vehicle scraps like aluminium, copper wires and tyres. This sustainable move will bring positive effects to the Indian automobile industry.
The facility spans 70,000 square feet and boasts cutting-edge equipment and infrastructure, adhering to government compliance standards for quality, environmental responsibility, and safety.
The Rosmerta Recycling facility can handle end-of-life vehicles (ELVs) of varying types, including two-wheelers, three-wheelers, and four-wheelers, with an annual capacity of over 30,000 vehicles. It follows statutory guidelines for dismantling and disposing of scrap, ensuring that all processes are conducted in compliance with regulations.
As part of the vehicle scrappage process, the company will engage in vehicle dismantling, segregation, crushing, compression, and recycling activities. The goal is to recycle a range of materials, such as aluminium scrap, copper wires, and tyres. Rosmerta Recycling will assist ELV owners in deregistering their vehicles from the respective Regional Transport Offices (RTOs) for safe disposal, as well as offer them instant buy-back payments through hassle-free transactions.
Moreover, the company plans to collaborate closely with OEMs to promote sustainable recycling practices, ultimately contributing to a more environmentally conscious and greener automotive ecosystem. Within the next three years, Rosmerta Technologies aims to establish ten more recycling facilities throughout the country.
