Rolls Royce unveils Phantom 2018 with all-new aluminium architecture

<p>Rolls-Royce has unveiled its new Phantom 2018 at an event in London&rsquo;s Mayfair. The company said the new model is the &ldquo;most technologically-advanced Rolls-Royce ever&rdquo;. The Phantom comes with all-aluminium spaceframe chassis. &nbsp;The Phantom 2018 will go on sale in early 2018.</p> <p><img style="vertical-align: middle; display: block; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;" src="http://www.alcircle.com/uploads/images/2018-rolls-royce-phantom-inline3-photo-686940-s-original.jpg" alt="news" width="448" height="300" /></p> <p>The aluminium architecture makes it lighter and 30 per cent stiffer than its predecessor.&nbsp;&ldquo;Phantom [VIII] is the most up to date technology driven Rolls Royce we have ever done in history so far, &rdquo; Torsten M&uuml;ller-&Ouml;tv&ouml;s, Chief Executive Officer, Rolls-Royce Motor Cars said at a press event.</p> <p>&ldquo;This Phantom is a pleasure for all your senses. It is impossible to beat and there are no others around who can deliver similar things.&rdquo;</p> <p>{googleAdsense}</p> <p>Rolls-Royce &nbsp;said, &ldquo;Incalculable effort was expended to create 'the most silent motor car in the world' including 6mm two-layer glazing all around the car, more than 130kg of sound insulation, the largest ever cast aluminium joints in a body-in-white for better sound insulation.&rdquo;</p> <p>The new model sports 6.75-litre twin-turbo V12 powertrain delivering 563bhp and 900NM of torque and a ZF 8-Speed gearbox.&nbsp;It has 12.3 inch TFT colour displays with LED backlighting, WiFi hotspot, and the latest navigation and entertainment systems.&nbsp;</p>
