Reynaers Aluminium Romania, the local branch of an European company specialised in developing solutions in aluminium for windows, doors, curtain walls, sliding systems and sun screening for the construction sector, reports that 20% of newly homes in Romania are using premium aluminium joinery.
According to Reynaers’ data, Residential projects contribute to the growth of the premium aluminium segment on the joinery market. Office projects remain the main demand driver for the aluminium joinery market due to increasing funds allocated in the sector. At the same time, the residential segment registered a significant growth in 2016.
"The projects developed by Reynaers in 2016 confirms a mature version of customers' behaviour, because they pay more attention to details and quality when choosing solutions for their homes," said Daniel Popa, country manager, Reynaers Aluminium Romania.

One out of five new homes in Romania is equipped with premium aluminum joinery. Over 40 per cent of the heat losses inside a building are caused by window insulation or its poor insulation perimeter, according to Reynaers representatives. The aluminium systems for windows and doors are leading in the ranking of requests from beneficiaries, who choose them because of their superior quality and long shelf life.
