This achievement was made possible with the assistance of Lesniak Swann, a marketing and PR firm. During the campaign, Reynaers' presence in the trade press increased to over 40%, with over 300 pieces published in important journals. This resulted in reaching an audience of over five million readers during the year.

Reynaers Aluminium UK Head of Marketing, Samantha Hill, said, "We are extremely proud to have accepted this award, both as recognition for the hard work and dedication of the team at Lesniak Swann, as well as for the Reynaers UK and Group marketing teams for their dedication to communicating our sustainability strategy, Reynaers Act.

The campaign consisted of three parts.

  1. It aimed to increase awareness about the changes to Part L of the Building Regulations, which introduced new thermal efficiency ratings for window and door systems.
  2.  Secondly, it utilised public relations to raise awareness about the importance of sustainability in the fenestration and construction industries.
  3. Lastly, the campaign involved launching the company's sustainability strategy, the Reynaers Act.

"This strategy clearly outlines Reynaers commitment to achieving science-based targets (SBTi's) set out to significantly reduce Reynaers' direct and indirect carbon emissions in line with targets to achieve net zero emissions by 2050," added Samantha Hill.
