Recycling weekly: Stellantis and Galloo unite to recycle aluminium parts from end-of-life vehicles

EDITED BY : SARNALI CHAKRABORTY 3MINS READ

Many companies, institutes, and agencies are doing their part to promote the importance of aluminium recycling. Like, the Environment Agency - Abu Dhabi (EAD) plans to install reverse vending machines around the Emirate to increase the recycling of commodities such as aluminium and plastic. Also, the Fergus Curling Club is initiating a multi-stage fundraising drive to replace the ice machine and concrete pad. The first part of our fundraising campaign, ABC's 4 FCC, kicks off on June 21. Under this initiative, the club requested that people save their aluminium cans, bottles and other recyclable items for recycling. Aluminium can recycling holds 95 per cent of the energy necessary to produce the same quantity of aluminium from its virgin source. Stellantis, Peugeot, Citroen, and Vauxhall's brands, have joined metal recycling specialist Galloo to boost its circular economy and attain net zero aims by 2038.
