PSU maker ENG Electronic cuts into aluminum material supply industry

Power supply unit (PSU) maker ENG Electronic has recently cut into the aluminum material supply industry and will start shipping aluminum materials and ingots to chassis makers such as Ju Teng, Catcher Technology and Foxconn Technology, and indirectly cut into Apple's supply chain, according to sources from PC players.
As the PC industry reaches maturity and is unable to provide growth as strong as in previous years, component makers are also seeking diversification to survive in the new ecosystem.
ENG has recently earned a chance to cooperate with Hong Kong-based Asia Aluminum and will start supplying aluminum materials in the fourth quarter. With Intel aggressively pushing Ultrabooks, demand for aluminum-based chassis is expected to increase and boost the company's performance, the sources noted.
In addition to aluminum material business, ENG, starting in September will also start supplying components for the aviation industry.
