Aluminum use to double

The use of aluminum by the automotive industry should more than double in four years.
The rate is such that in four years we will just have more than 100 per cent growth.
The transportation industry accounts for about 26 per cent of aluminum consumption, according to the London Metal Exchange.
Carmakers are using more aluminum because of a combination of new legislation in Europe and the U.S., and new wealth across the globe which can be concluded referring to the emerging markets.
