ProfilGruppen signs a contract with Volvo Cars for aluminium components supply

ProfilGruppen, a Swedish company today announced their signing of a deal for supplies to Volvo Car Corporations.
Though the financial deals of this contract were not available, the company announced they will start supplying from 2015 and will be the new supplier of components of aluminum for Volvo Cars. It is expected the contract will have several thousand tons of aluminium profiles.
As per the contract, ProfilGruppen will invest around SEK15m in an automated machining cell.
ProfilGruppen is a supplier of customised aluminium extrusions and components.
Volvo Cars, a European manufacturer of passenger cars, is a part of the Chinese group Geely Holding Group.
