Exciting Momentum Builds for IBAAS-IMMT-IIM 2025 Conference & Exhibition in Bhubaneswar
The 13th International Bauxite, Alumina & Aluminium Conference and Exhibition — IBAAS-IMMT-IIM 2025, scheduled during October 8–10, 2025, in Bhubaneswar, India, is rapidly gaining momentum. With the release of the Second Circular, the response has been overwhelmingly positive. To date, more than 70 technical abstracts have been submitted by experts from across the globe and around 50 companies have already confirmed their participation. This strong and growing interest reflects the industry’s commitment to advancing innovation and sustainability.
The abstracts received so far are now available on the IBAAS website (www.ibaas.info). By making the abstracts publicly accessible, IBAAS aims to promote greater transparency, knowledge-sharing and early collaboration among researchers, industry professionals, and stakeholders. This initiative helps participants to identify key areas of interest in advance, engage with presenters, and encourage high-quality discussions during the conference.
The conference has also attracted significant industry support. SNF has joined as the Gold Sponsor, while Nalco Water and EPIQ Machinery are supporting the event. As part of the event, a special half-day session will be organised by the Aluminium Stewardship Initiative (ASI) on 9th October 2025 at 2 PM, focusing on sustainability standards, responsible sourcing, procedure for ASI certification and ESG practices in the aluminium value chain. Additionally, the IBAAS-Cetizion Verifica ESG Awards 2025 will be presented during the conference to recognise outstanding efforts in environmental, social, and governance performance. Companies are invited to register and compete for these prestigious awards, which aim to highlight and promote leadership in sustainable practices within the aluminium industry.
