Prebaked anode prices in Southwest and Northwest China drop by RMB 100/t; aluminium alloy prices decline in major markets

The A00 aluminium ingot price again witnessed a drop today, on December 20.A00 aluminium Ingot price dropped by RMB 80 per tonne to RMB 13510 per tonne. The average prices today are expected to range between RMB 13490 per tonne and RMB 13530 per tonne, with spot discounts to settle at RMB 90 to RMB 50 per tonne.

All the major markets in China also recorded a decline today. In the east Wuxi, the ingot price dropped by RMB 65 per tonne to RMB 13505 per tonne while in Hangzhou, the price declined by RMB 70 per tonne to RMB 13530 per tonne.

In the south and north, the prices are hovering at RMB 13690 per tonne and RMB 13500 per tonne respectively. In south, the price is expected to range between RMB 13670 per tonne and RMB 13710 per tonne; in north, the price is expected to range between RMB 13490 per tonne and RMB 13510 per tonne.

As for other raw materials are concerned, Average prebaked anode prices in Southwest China and Northwest China market declined by RMB 100 per tonne to stand at RMB3900 per tonne and RMB4000 per tonne respectively.

Prebaked anode prices in in East China and Central China remained unchanged at RMB RMB3625 per tonne and RMB3610 per tonne respectively.

The aluminium alloys (ADC12) spot price declined by RMB 50 per tonne to stand at RMB 15000 per tonne today. Aluminium alloys (A356) price stood at RMB 14150 per tonne, down from RMB 14200 per tonne on December 19.Aluminium alloy (A380) also recorded a decline by RMB 50 to stand at RMB 15800 per tonne.
