This strategic expansion reinforces Schon Doorways' unwavering commitment to becoming a global leader in sustainable building materials, offering innovative solutions that meet the growing demand for eco-conscious construction worldwide.

Ajay Balakrishna, Founder and CEO at Schon Doorways, said, "The need for aluminium fenestration solutions striking a perfect balance between design, durability, and sustainability is gaining momentum across markets. Our growth directly responds to that need, and we aim to position Indian engineering at the forefront of a worldwide movement towards sustainable and high-performance architecture."

Leading manufacturer of aluminium doors & windows

Schon Doorways, a leading manufacturer of premium aluminium doors and windows, has expanded its domestic presence to over 180 cities across India, including Hyderabad, Chennai, Bangalore, Visakhapatnam, Pune, and more. This growth reinforces the company's commitment to the 'Make in India' and 'Atmanirbhar Bharat' initiatives, showcasing high-quality, locally produced products and homegrown innovation on a global scale.

By focusing on automated, sustainable, and design-driven manufacturing, the company is also contributing to job creation. As India transitions from an import-dependent to a manufacturing-driven economy, the aluminium doors and windows market is projected to reach USD 1.45 billion by 2029.

Growing market for aluminium doors and windows

The growing market for aluminium doors and windows signals a rising demand for smart, sustainable, and design-forward solutions. Riding this wave, Schon Doorways' strategic expansion aligns seamlessly with India's renewed manufacturing momentum.

As the Government sets its sights on boosting the sector's GDP share from 12 per cent to 23 per cent over the next two decades, the surge in FDI—$29.79 billion into manufacturing in H1 FY2024–25 alone, according to DPIIT, underscores a strong global vote of confidence. Schon Doorways is positioning itself at the heart of this transformation, blending innovation with impact.

Schon Doorways operates a state-of-the-art 80,000 sq. ft. manufacturing facility in Bangalore, with a monthly output of 25,000–30,000 sq. ft. of premium aluminium systems. In alignment with global sustainability standards, 30 per cent of the aluminium used is recycled, and all products meet renowned international certifications including LEED, IGBC, GRIHA, and BREEAM.

The company has also developed proprietary in-house hardware, featuring magnetic sealing and smart locking technologies, and has filed a patent for its innovative corner slider system. With a strong focus on technological advancement, Schon Doorways is investing heavily in CNC automation, IoT-enabled processes, and AI-driven quality control, aiming to achieve 60 per cent digitisation by 2027.
