The additions are intended to give homeowners and builders more choice across performance levels, design preferences and budgets.

According to company executives, the expanded line-up reflects a continued focus on durability, design flexibility and long-term performance. Steven Starkey, Vice President of Sales at Miter Brands-South, said the new products strengthen PGT’s ability to deliver solutions that combine safety with visual appeal. He added that customers now have access to a broader mix of styles, colour options and hardware finishes, including a full front-entry door through the FD 450 Estate model.
The Sparta range has been positioned as a cost-conscious aluminium option with impact resistance. It incorporates PGT’s “Always On” protection system, which is designed to help shield homes from extreme weather conditions, unauthorised entry and external noise, while remaining accessible in terms of pricing.
The Scout range, meanwhile, provides a non-impact aluminium alternative. It offers dependable construction and adaptable design options for both builders and homeowners, suitable for a wide range of residential uses.
PGT has also expanded its door portfolio with two French door designs. The FD 450 Estate French Door is designed to function as a primary entry door but can also be used as a traditional French door elsewhere in the home. It is available with impact-resistant glass as well as several energy-efficient glazing options.
The FD 160 impact-resistant French Door combines hurricane protection with a more refined appearance. Intended for use in areas such as patios, garages and side entrances, the door is built to meet strict building code requirements while enhancing both security and overall appearance.
