Panasonic Automotive and Industrial Systems Europe (PAISEU), a manufacturer and supplier of electronic components, devices and modules up to complete solutions for a wide range of industries, has launched a new FS series of aluminium electrolytic capacitors (radial lead type). Andreas Lapucha, product marketing manager Capacitors at Panasonic stated: “The FS Series provides space reduction and allows for a reduced number of capacitors on the board. Low ESR and high ripple current in the FS Series combine to provide a more stable, long life capacitor alternative.”

The characteristics of the FS Series promises to be very useful for power instruments, home appliances, set top box, servers and lighting.”

The new miniature aluminium electrolytic capacitors benefit from low ESR values (down to 12mΩ), a small footprint (one size smaller than popular FR series components) and high endurance of 5.000h up to 10.000h at 105°C.

The company designed FS series capacitors for a wide operating temperature range of -40°C up to +105°C.
