As per the report, the company has earmarked an investment of INR 180 million (approx. 21 million) for the plant to address the growing demand for recycled aluminium products, particularly from the solar energy and construction industries.

Nupur Extrusion was established in May 2023 by Nupur Recyclers Limited with a 60 per cent share, aiming at producing aluminium extrusions from recycled aluminium scrap.

Nupur Recyclers has purchased two acres of land in Sampla, Bahadurgarh, Haryana, for the new extrusion plant and started construction. Expected to be commissioned by the financial year 2025-26, the plant will be equipped with two extrusion press machines with a production capacity of 5,000 to 6,000 tonnes.

This new plant will strengthen the position of Nupur Recyclers in recycled aluminium extrusion market, enabling the company to meet the rapidly growing demand for the extruded product made from recycled scrap. Recycled aluminium extrusions are currently high in demand, especially in the solar energy sector for making solar panel components.

Rajesh Gupta, Managing Director of Nupur Recyclers Limited, said: “Entering the aluminium extrusion manufacturing sector allows us to diversify into a burgeoning market while staying committed to sustainability. The demand for recycled materials in solar energy and construction is on the rise, and we are strategically poised to fulfill this need.” He further noted, “This investment will enhance our market presence and contribute to sustainable industrial growth.”

Nupur Recyclers Limited is a prominent player in the aluminium recycling industry, specialising in processing Zorba grades. Sourcing scraps from the Middle East, Central Europe, and the United States, the company leverages innovative techniques for recycling, with sustainability at the forefront of its business strategy.
