
The aluminium food container is considered one of the budget-friendly food-grade containers and the most commonly used packaging solutions across food industries. It provides outstanding product protection due to its strong and durable feature and may requisite less secondary packaging than other packaging types. However, the product is shelf-stable, reduces wastage and is refrigeration friendly. The very thin layers of aluminium foil are quite sufficient to attain the required packaging process.

In 2019, the north-western European nation, Netherlands exported 1165 tonnes of aluminium containers that incurred revenue generation of $10.35 million, whereas, in 2020, the export of aluminium containers scaled by 87.98%, as the export volume exhibits dynamic growth to 2190 tonnes.

The export of aluminium containers for 2021 is predicted to reach 3235 tonnes, signifies growth in demand by 47.71% and the earnings to also stand at $27.95 million.

The major trading nations for Netherlands export of aluminium containers are Belgium, India, Germany, Egypt, Indonesia, Mexico, Norway, Philippines, Portugal, Romania, South Korea, Spain, Thailand, etc.
