Nalco seeks energy banking ties with GRIDCO

The state-owned National Aluminium Company Ltd (NALCO) has proposed the Orissa-run GRIDCO Ltd to have energy banking arrangement so that both can help each other to meet their energy needs during a crisis, official said Wednesday.
The company has formally submitted a proposal to GRIDCO - the bulk purchaser of power - and asked it supply continuously 50 MW power for three months during the monsoon.
