EDITED BY : DIPANWITA GUPTA 2MINS READ

Indian aluminium major National Aluminium Company Limited (NALCO) launched a mobile App ‘NAGINAA’ (NALCO Grahak Information and Networking App for All) on Monday, October 23, in Bhubaneswar, Odisha.

With this, the Navaratna PSU has taken customer satisfaction to its next level- customer delight, in perfect alignment with the government’s Digital India vision.

{alcircleadd}

NAGINAA was launched by Shri Arun Kumar, Secretary, Ministry of Mines, Govt of India, in presence of NALCO CMD Dr. Tapan Kumar Chand, Shri Subhash Chandra, Jt. Secretary, Ministry of Mines, Dr. N.K. Singh, Jt. Secretary, Ministry of Mines, Shri S. Samantray, General Manager (Marketing) and other officials of NALCO.

Developed to enhance customer convenience, the mobile app shall provide details about NALCO, its products, specifications, points-of-sale, product prices, Customer MoU Scheme, Customer Payment Details and other generic and business related information to the interested stakeholders. For existing customers there shall be links where they can click and check their MoU Lifting Details, Despatch Details, Truck Placement Plan, Account Summary etc. Users can also provide their valuable feedback using this App.

Digital is redefining businesses across the world. Any business refraining from including digital in their core strategy runs the chance of losing a footprint in the global market, especially when most of the end users irrespective of industries are there on the web looking for the product of their requirement. It is absolutely timely on Nalco’s part to grab the opportunities presented by the digital media in a bid to stay customer-centric, and hence, competitive in the long run.
