In October, the Ministry of Equipment and Energy conducted a screening process to prepare the "green aluminium evaluation and trading guidelines" and carbon footprint verification, in line with the requirements set by the Beichuan Industrial Park Management Committee for applying provincial foreign trade development funds.

To enhance the distribution channels for product sales, fulfil the prerequisites for accessing the European market, and comply with the carbon footprint verification requirements set out by downstream clients for primary liquid aluminium. The organisation has delegated the task of verifying the carbon footprint of aluminium alloy rod A356.2 to the China Quality Certification Centre.
Following a review by the Beichuan Industrial Park Management Committee, both projects were awarded local foreign trade development special funds and carbon footprint verification, and the Beichuan Industrial Park Management Committee approved the two projects of the branch.
This verification process will comply with the international standard PAS2050, which pertains to assessing greenhouse gas emissions associated with goods and services throughout their life cycle. Additionally, the verification will adhere to the guidelines outlined in ISO14067-2018, which specify the requirements and guidelines. This proposal aims to advocate for reducing emissions across the green aluminium industrial chain to attract a larger customer base and expand the market.
In recent years, the firm has adhered to green, low-carbon, and high-quality development. It has taken an active role in the assessment of green electro-aluminium. In August 2022, the firm helped to write and prepare the group standard "Guidelines for Evaluation and Trading of Green Electro Aluminium," jointly released by the China Nonferrous Metals Industry Association and China Nonferrous Metals Society.
The standard was issued on December 21, 2022, and enacted on March 1, 2023. In June of this year, the firm completed the first batch of domestic green aluminium evaluations, obtaining the "Green Aluminium Product Evaluation Certificate" and "Green Aluminium Procurement Certificate" in conformity with the relevant criteria of the standard.
In the future, the company will remain committed to the green, low-carbon, high-quality development path, with "green, intelligent, digital" as the direction, based on the new energy advantages of Qinghai Province and in alignment with national and industrial development planning. They will do this by continuing to run efficiently and steadily, bolstering scientific and technological innovation, and working to develop the most competitive green, low-carbon, low-cost digital intelligence possible.
