The Italian cycling brand, Miche has unveiled its new X2 RD chainrings, built on a simple idea: don’t waste a single watt of rider effort. The chainrings combine CNC-machined AL 7075-T6 aluminium with a 3K carbon structural layer, a mix that delivers a rare balance of lightness, stiffness, and responsiveness.

This fusion creates a chainring that is exceptionally rigid yet lightweight and highly responsive, enabling every pedal stroke to be transformed directly into speed. The design also guarantees full compatibility with cranksets both with and without power meters, ensuring that cyclists can achieve peak performance in any setup.
Two versions of the system
Compatibility was a key part of the design. The X2 RD works seamlessly with cranksets with or without power meters, so riders won’t have to compromise on equipment.
Two versions are being offered:
Both options follow the same design philosophy and can be paired with Miche R12 inner chainrings or original Shimano chainrings, giving riders plenty of choice in setup.
For Miche, the X2 RD isn’t just about pushing harder but about pedaling smarter. The company argues that every watt saved in the drivetrain can mean faster times, stronger performances, and better results on the road.
