In concurrent with INCAL 2019, the INDO-ITALIAN METALHUB programme by ArtValley also continued with great success, targeting at decision makers in the industrial sectors in India and in Italy while focusing on the industrial and cultural exchange between the two countries.
The programme Indo-Italian MetalHub continued in 2019 with the participation to INCAL 2019, with the Special Session in particular on “Aluminium in Railways & Transportation”- The challenge of metallurgy in the world of transportation in India.
Among many companies that made a strong presence at the seminar, Metra was the “star” in the transportation section. The Italian company was the main protagonist of the Italian mission in India, Bhubaneswar - the host city for INDO-ITALIAN HUB programme & INCAL 2019.
In several moments during the event, Metra’s CEO Enrico Zampedri attested and demonstrated that the extrusion industry is focused on innovation in the most important areas of production, especially during the session on “Aluminium in the transportation sector.”
Metra creates aluminium components based on their strong technological culture that perfectly integrates with the manufacturing concept of companies and with consumers. They are involved in the construction of structural parts for carriages and locomotives for the world’s largest groups like Hitachi Rail, Bombardier, and Siemens. As for the components that come from extrusion, they are certainly increasing relative to the automotive sector and partially the motorbike construction sector, in which India is the major player.
At the seminar, other relevant presentations and interactions were offered by Damiano Francovigh, Counsel General for Italy; A. Jayagopal, cto Hindalco; Kamal Prakash, Ceo JS Group; Francesca Bruni, president ArtValley; Maurizio Grisanti, LUCCHINIRS; Mauro Baldassi, Danieli Breda; Andrea Vattuone, Ceo Rina India; and Alberto Cavicchiolo, president IIMH (coordinator of the session).
