With over six decades of experience in the production of aircraft maintenance ladders, Metallic Ladder has introduced the ANSI-rated Type 1A AeroLadder that guarantees maximum stability, reinforced heavy-duty gusseting on all steps, and a tray for tools and parts. The AeroLadder is built to withstand year-round outdoor storage and use, and its aerospace-grade aluminium material ensures its longevity.

An aircraft maintenance manager for a logistics company, Michael Romanowski, asserted: "The AeroLadder is 100 per cent better than competing designs because of its sturdiness, width, price, and quality of build. When it's wintertime, raining, or there's intense heat, AeroLadder is dependable and functions properly."

"If Skydrol hydraulic fluid gets on this ladder, there's still sufficient grip for us to safely move up and down and do our work. Our fibreglass ladders have to be replaced every few years as they deteriorate due to the weather and exposure to Skydrol," Romanowski spoke out.

AeroLadder comes in three sizes, six, eight, and ten feet and includes heavy-duty, five-inch wheels, slip-resistant rubber feet, and cast aluminium. The ladder is specially designed to allow mechanics to reach electrical equipment bays, pylon panels, wheel wells, and other challenging areas on aircraft like the Boeing 777 and McDonell Douglass MD-11 while safeguarding the surface of the plane. The ladder is capable of accommodating a weight of up to 250 lbs and even allows a worker to hoist a 70-lb battery for installation in an aircraft's electrical equipment bay.

"We're replacing our fibreglass ladders with Metallic Ladders because they last. We have other models of the company's ladders that are 20 years old," Romanowski added.

Metallic Ladder's AeroLadder is a trusted name in the industry and is known for its flexible manufacturing, configurable products, and responsive customer support representatives who understand the needs of businesses of any size. The ladder is 100% USA-made in its Western New York Factory and Design Center. The company's tagline, Trust Your Climb, is a testament to its commitment to ensuring employee safety and increasing productivity in businesses.

The president of Metallic Ladder, Patrick Reagan, elaborated: "We designed the AeroLadder for easily and safely accessing things like engine pylon panels and opening up a cowling where a mechanic needs to get a ladder underneath the wing or get to the top of the engine."

"Sometimes, maintenance professionals need to get creative about using ladders; our aim is designing 'dangerous' out of ladders," Reagan claimed.

Airlines and logistics company mechanics can now quickly order and receive replacement parts for AeroLadder, which is a testament to the ladder's durability and reliability. Choose AeroLadder for a safe and reliable solution to your aircraft maintenance ladder needs.
