Established in 1985, Metal Technology operates from its expansive three-acre manufacturing and distribution hub, offering daily deliveries to locations across the UK and Ireland. The company boasts ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certifications for quality and environmental standards and holds accreditation for Passive House construction.
The company's achievements are rooted in its steadfast commitment to supporting continuous product development and the significant strides in minimizing its environmental footprint. This is exemplified by their recent Climate Action Pledge, in partnership with Business in the Community Northern Ireland.
Secured by Design (SBD) represents the official security initiative endorsed by the UK Police Service. Its primary objective is to curtail criminal activities and enhance the safety of individuals. It focuses on elevating the security of structures by endorsing products like doors, windows, locks, and walling systems that conform to SBD's stringent security standards. Furthermore, SBD incorporates established crime prevention strategies and practices into the design and layout of new developments. This includes strategies like optimizing natural surveillance and minimizing excessive foot traffic through the area.
