Mercedes-Benz's venture into fragrances demonstrates the company's commitment to history and essential beliefs. The intriguing Land, Sea, and Air scent trio pays tribute to the elements reflected in the classic three-pointed star insignia. With aluminium caps on scent bottles, the eminent brand not only increases the shelf-life of the parfums but also fosters sustainability, reaffirming its dedication to environmental preservation.

Notably, the Mercedes-Benz scent range has eco-friendly features. The use of recycled glass bottles and aluminium caps for the first time by a German company demonstrates the company's dedication to decreasing its environmental footprint. These materials were recycled from past applications, decreasing the requirement for fresh raw resources and reducing waste.
The use of algae-derived biodegradable paper for external packaging emphasizes the brand's commitment to sustainability even further. When opposed to standard non-biodegradable materials, this sort of packaging is meant to degrade organically, minimizing its negative impact on the environment.
Mercedes-Benz and IFF master perfumer Anne Flipo united to formulate the Land, Sea, and Air fragrance range, which marks a significant milestone in the world of perfumery. The Land scent has cocoa shells, tonka bean, and patchouli undertones. These elements combine to provide a parfum that is likely to evoke warmth, depth, and earthiness, reflecting the notion of "Land" and its stability and dependability. The Sea scent has violet leaves, tangerine, and seaweed notes. This blend is expected to provide a fresh, aquatic, and energizing aroma that captures the spirit of the sea, in keeping with Mercedes-Benz's image of flexibility and fluidity. Armoise oil, citrus notes, and turmeric leaf are combined in the Air scent. This combination implies a light, airy, and uplifting aroma, which corresponds to the concept of "Air" and its associations with freedom and infinite possibilities.
"When we started to work on this project, the objective was to give a new start to Mercedes-Benz's parfums range in a unique and unexpected manner," said Magalie Chauvin, international marketing director of INCC Parfums, who is also the licensor for Mercedes- Benz fragrances to WWD.
Crystal Wood, chief marketing officer and chief operating officer of distribution group The PCA Group of Companies, further added: "For us, this collection is an elevated play — it fills a gap for rising [consumer] consciousness about sustainability and fragrance."
