Luoyang Longding Aluminium Industries Co., Ltd., also known as "Longding Aluminium," is a specialised aluminium processing company that primarily manufactures aluminium plates, strips, and foils. Longding Aluminum's daily production report shows that the company's double zero foils production reached 2,000 tonnes on November 21. In November, the total monthly production will reach 2,500 tonnes; in December, the output is expected to exceed 3,500 tonnes.
Since the fourth quarter, the company has been based on itself, deeply training internal skills, and comprehensively improving the quality of double-zero foil billet, from upgrading the melt batching structure of the casting and rolling process, strengthening the execution of melt purification and standardising the casting process parameters, to upgrading the cold rolling process equipment accuracy, cleaning the guide roller system, lubricating and cleaning the oblique roller system, and cleaning the diagonal roller system.
To enhance the production, quality, and sales of double zero foil, it is necessary to focus on optimising the aluminium foil curing process parameters, improving the cleaning of the rolling mill, and enhancing the thinning and cutting operation. Yi Yiwei, the deputy general manager of Longding Aluminium, stated that the company will persist in improving the entire melting, cold rolling, and aluminium foil production process.
The focus will be on maintaining the double zero foil billet quality and finished products, improving equipment stability, and increasing work efficiency. These efforts will establish the solid groundwork for producing the 100,000-ton double zero foil project, the product structure adjustment of Longding Aluminum, and the high-end aluminium foil market. According to reports, with the smooth progress of Longding Aluminum's 100,000 tonnes of double zero foil projects, the company's production is estimated to reach 6,000 tonnes/month in the first half of 2024.
