
LME aluminium opened at US$2,242.50 per tonne on Tuesday, with its high and low at US$2,249.50 per tonne and US$2,211 per tonne, respectively, before closing at US$2,214 per tonne, a decrease of US$32 per tonne or 1.42 per cent.
{alcircleadd}The LME aluminium live price chart, on October 10, experienced slightly upscale trends, with the LME aluminium cash bid price and the LME aluminium official price adding US$6 per tonne or 0.27 per cent to officially close at US$2,198 per tonne and US$2,199 per tonne.
The LME aluminium official price had reached the US$2300 mark on September 29 but maintained a linear outlook for the beginning of October, with a Week-on-Week drop of US$58 per tonne or 2.57 per cent.
London Metal Exchange graph displayed that the 3-month bid price and the 3-month offer price have gained US$2 per tonne or 0.09 per cent and US$1 per tonne or 0.04 per cent to stop at US$2,229 per tonne and US$2,230 per tonne.
The December 24 bid price and the December 24 offer price have spiked by US$2 per tonne or 0.08 per cent, settling at US$2,355 per tonne and US$2,360 per tonne.
LME aluminium opening stock recorded a grand drop of 3,000 tonnes or 0.6 per cent to finally settle at 492,650 tonnes. Live warrants stood at 193,300 tonnes, with no change at all. Cancelled warrants plummeted by 3,000 tonnes or 0.99 per cent to reside at 299,350 tonnes.
LME aluminium 3-month Asian Reference Price halted at US$2,225.07 per tonne, down US$8.10 per tonne or 0.36 per cent.
SHFE aluminium price
Today, on October 11, the Shanghai Futures Exchange (SHFE) aluminium price chart have shown declining traits, with the official price halting at US$2,660 per tonne with US$20 per tonne or 0.75 per cent subtracted from it.
Overnight, the most-traded SHFE 2311 aluminium contract opened at RMB 19,020 per tonne, with its lowest and highest at RMB 18,965 per tonne and RMB 19,055 per tonne before closing at RMB 19,045 per tonne, down RMB 55 per tonne or 0.29 per cent compared with the previous trading day.
SHFE 2307 aluminium added RMB 595 per tonne or 3.38 per cent to RMB 18,185 per tonne. The open interest fell 11,785 lots to 256,640 lots.
