
Three-month LME aluminium opened at US$2237 per tonne last evening and closed at US$2247 per tonne, a US$7.5 per tonne rise or 0.33 per cent.

On Monday, October 9, both LME aluminium cash bid price and LME aluminium official settlement price dropped by US$15 per tonne or 0.67 per cent to close at US$2,192 per tonne and US$2,193 per tonne.
London Metal Exchange (LME) graph displayed that both 3-month bid price and 3-month offer price slipped by US$11 per tonne or 0.49 per cent and US$10 per tonne or 0.44 per cent to clock at US$2,227 per tonne and US$2,229 per tonne. December 24 bid price and December 24 offer price also fell by US$17 per tonne or 0.71 per cent to halt at US$2,353 per tonne and US$2,358 per tonne.
LME aluminium opening stock settled at 495650 tonnes. Live warrants and Cancelled warrants are pegged at 193300 tonnes and 302350 tonnes. LME aluminium 3-month Asian Reference Price decreased by US$4.49 per tonne or 0.20 per cent to rest at US$2,233.17 per tonne.
SHFE aluminium price
On Tuesday, October 10, the Shanghai Futures Exchange (SHFE) aluminium price chart has displayed a growth of US$9 per tonne or 0.33 per cent to stop at US$2,680 per tonne. The most-traded SHFE 2311 aluminium contract opened at RMB 19150 per tonne in last night's trading session, with the lowest and highest at RMB 19085 per tonne and RMB 19190 per tonne before closing at RMB 19125 per tonne, down RMB 125 per tonne, or 0.65 per cent.
