
Three-month LME aluminium shed 1.11 per cent to settle at US$ 1,822 per tonne on Monday, after hitting its lowest in more than two weeks at US$ 1,821.5 per tonne earlier in the session. It is likely to fluctuate between US$ 1,810-1,850 per tonne today.

LME aluminium cash (bid) price and LME official settlement price decreased by US$ 6.5 per tonne from US$ 1829 per tonne to US$ 1822.50 per tonne, as of Monday, October 26. 3-months bid price and 3-months offer price stood at US$ 1837.50 per tonne, down by US$ 5 per tonne from US$ 1842.50 per tonne on October 23. Dec 21 bid price and Dec 21 offer price declined from US$ 1895.50 per tonne to US$ 1890.50 per tonne.
The LME aluminium opening stock hovered at 1473900 tonnes. Live Warrants stood at 1216650 tonnes, while Cancelled Warrants at 257250 tonnes.
LME aluminium 3-months Asian Reference Price came in at US$ 1841.34 per tonne, as of October 26.
SHFE Aluminium Price Trend
Benchmark aluminium price for SHFE decreased from US$ 2205 per tonne to US$ 2200 per tonne on Tuesday, October 27, 2020.
The most-liquid SHFE 2011 aluminium contract rose to an intraday high of RMB 14,820 per tonne after opening and closed up 0.14 per cent at RMB 14,740 per tonne. Open interest fell 5,489 lots to 112,000 lots. The contract is likely to continue to fluctuate at high.
The most-liquid SHFE 2011 aluminium contract inched up 0.03 per cent to close at RMB 14,755 per tonne in overnight trading, and is expected to move between RMB 14,500-14,900 per tonne today.
