
Three-month LME aluminium edged down 0.09 per cent to settle at US$ 2267 per tonne on Monday and is expected to move between US$ 2250-2280 per tonne today.

LME aluminium cash (bid) price and LME official settlement price increased by US$ 4 per tonne to come in at US$ 2254 per tonne as of Monday, April 12, following a plunge to US$ 2250 per tonne on Friday, April 9. 3-months bid price and 3-months offer price rose marginally from US$ 2267.50 per tonne to US$ 2268.50 per tonne. Dec 22 bid price and Dec 22 offer price, however, decreased to return to US$ 2308 per tonne as of April 12.
The LME aluminium opening stock decreased from 1854250 tonnes to 1847600 tonnes. Live Warrants totalled 1337125 tonnes, while Cancelled Warrants stood at 510475 tonnes.
LME aluminium 3-months Asian Reference Price came in at US$ 2254.71 per tonne, down by US$ 19.31 per tonne from US$ 2274.02 per tonne on April 9.
SHFE Aluminium Price Trend
Benchmark aluminium price for SHFE gained US$ 10 per tonne to settle at US$ 2661 per tonne on Tuesday, April 13, 2021.
The most-active SHFE 2105 aluminium contract weakened 0.17 per cent to close at RMB 17,385 per tonne in overnight trading, with open interest rising 1,819 lots to 180,000 lots, and it is likely to fluctuate between RMB 17,300-17,500 per tonne today.
