On Tuesday, February 8, LME aluminium cash (bid) price had gone up by US$96.5 per tonne or 3.06% to score at US$3,244 per tonne. For the same day, LME aluminium official settlement price also surged by US$97 per tonne or by 3.08% to peg at US$3,245 per tonne. 3-month bid price and 3-month offer price registered at US$3,194.50 per tonne and US$3,195.50 per tonne. December 23 bid price and December 23 offer price totalled at US$2,843 per tonne and US$2,848 per tonne.
LME aluminium opening stock came in at 767700 tonnes. Live warrants and Cancelled warrants was recorded at 418950 tonnes and 348750 tonnes.
LME aluminium 3-month Asian Reference Price closed at US$3,179.87 per tonne.
SHFE aluminium price
On Wednesday, February 9, the benchmark aluminium price for SHFE has ascended by US$82 per tonne or by 2.33% to settle at US$3,595 per tonne.
