LME aluminium opened at US$2279 per tonne last Friday, with low and high at US$2263 per tonne and US$2292 per tonne before closing down 0.42 per cent at US$2273.5 per tonne.
On Friday, July 14, both LME aluminium cash bid price and LME aluminium official settlement price dropped by US$11 per tonne or 0.49 per cent to close at US$2,224.50 per tonne and US$2,225 per tonne.
3-month bid price and 3-month offer price also fell by US$9 per tonne or 0.39 per cent and US$10 per tonne or 0.43 per cent to score at US$2,268 per tonne and US$2,269 per tonne.
December 24 bid price and December 24 offer price moved down the graph by US$4 per tonne or 0.16 per cent to reside at US$2,418 per tonne and US$2,423 per tonne.
LME aluminium opening stock settled at 528475 tonnes. Live warrants and Cancelled warrants clocked at 279525 tonnes and 248950 tonnes.
LME aluminium 3-month Asian Reference Price surged by US$35.52 per tonne to peg at US$2,275.92 per tonne.
SHFE aluminium price
On Monday, July 17, the SHFE aluminium benchmark price has dwindled by US$47 per tonne or 1.80 per cent to anchor at US$2,564 per tonne. As per the SMM data, this week, the most-traded SHFE aluminium 2308 contract and LME aluminium will likely move between RMB 17,500-18,700 per tonne and US$2,120-2,280 per tonne.
