LME aluminium prices moved higher on July 22 compared with July 21, with gains recorded across the cash, three-month and December 2027 contracts, while exchange inventories continued to decline.
{alcircleadd}The LME aluminium cash bid price increased to USD 3,204 per tonne on July 22 from USD 3,183 per tonne on July 21, up 0.66 per cent. The cash offer price also climbed to USD 3,205 per tonne from USD 3,183.5 per tonne, rising 0.68 per cent.
The LME aluminium three-month bid price rose to USD 3,183 per tonne on July 22 from USD 3,170 per tonne on July 21, an increase of 0.41 per cent. The three-month offer price advanced to USD 3,185 per tonne from USD 3,170.5 per tonne, up 0.46 per cent.
The December 2027 aluminium bid price increased to USD 3,117 per tonne on July 22 from USD 3,105 per tonne a day earlier, rising 0.39 per cent. The December 2027 offer price also moved up to USD 3,122 per tonne from USD 3,110 per tonne, an increase of 0.39 per cent.

The LME aluminium three-month Asian Reference Price stood at USD 3,192.5 per tonne on July 22.
On the inventory front, LME aluminium opening stock declined to 278,275 tonnes on July 22 from 279,775 tonnes on July 21, down 0.54 per cent. Live warrants remained unchanged at 245,900 tonnes, while cancelled warrants fell to 30,875 tonnes from 32,375 tonnes, a decline of 4.63 per cent.
Meanwhile, the LME Platts alumina price stood at USD 337.16 per tonne.
